Phonzie Brown, D.Ph. Executive Director
Phonzie has been a pharmacy professional for 44 years. After graduating with a Bachelors of Pharmacy from the University of Memphis in 1965, he worked as a pharmacist, a district manager for Super X drugs, and as a 3rd party sales specialist. He formerly served as the VP of Sales for BioScrip, based in Elmsford, NY. Phonzie is a member of the National Community Pharmacists Association, American Pharmacists Association, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the Tennessee Pharmacist Association (TPA).
Phonzie lives in Franklin, TN, with his wife Nezalee, a retired nurse. When not on the job, he enjoys his favorite hobby; playing golf and spending time with his four young grandchildren.

Karen Denaburg, Vice President of 3rd Party/Managed Care
Karen began her work in the pharmacy in 2001 with the Tennessee Pharmacists Association. She later directed the third party department for The Pharmacy Cooperative and then served as Director of Contract Negotiations for APNS. Her previous experience includes communications, event planning and fundraising for non-profit organizations, state associations, and a national political campaign.
Karen received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She lives in Medina, Tennessee with her husband Scott, a pharmacist, and daughter, Reilly.

Sherri Forrest. Vice President Professional Affairs
In 1998, Sherri joined the Tennessee Pharmacy Coalition, which later became The Pharmacy Cooperative as the Director of Member Relations. Sherri is now the Vice President of Professional Affairs for Southern Pharmacy Cooperative. She has extensive experience in event planning, vendor relations and communications.
Sherri resides in Nashville, Tennessee where she enjoys all aspects of what truly is Music City U.S.A. In her spare time, Sherri wears a completely different “hat” away from pharmacy; she is a certified Miss America judge and travels throughout the country judging pageants.
